As parents, we hate to see our children hurt or sick. We try our best, but it's simply not possible to completely prevent bad things from happening on occasion. We want to help reduce the challenges you face when your child is injured in an accident or is diagnosed with a serious health condition, so you can focus on their recovery.
Accident Coverage
The Goose Kids Insurance protection plan provides many benefits if your child becomes injured, including:
- replacing eye glasses that get broken in an accident
- fixing teeth that get broken or lost due to a sports-related accident
- covering incidental expenses related to a hospital stay ("Hospital Cash")
- paying for crutches, ambulance services, (things not normally covered by provincial health care plans)
- counselling & private tutoring (when hospitalized for more than 30 days due to a covered sickness or injury)
Accidental Death & Dismemberment
If an accident results in more serious injury or death, the policy provides a tax-free payment of up to $350,000 for expenses related to the child's total and permanent disability. See the chart below for more details.
Critical Illness Coverage
If your child is diagnosed with a critical illness outline in the policy wordings (such as life-threatening cancer, leukaemia or AIDS), then nursing expenses, accommodations, meals, parking expenses during treatment can be covered. This is in addition to a one-time, tax-free payment of $5,000 which can be used however you wish.
Emergency Travel Medical Insurance
Up to $200,000 of emergency travel medical coverage when the child travels outside their home province. (Please note that this travel insurance does not apply for travellers while in Cuba, Iran and/or North Korea)
For only $60/year, your child will be covered for all of these benefits and more!

Is my child eligible for coverage?
