During the first 24 months after the effective date of your coverage, if you are diagnosed with a condition that is one of the 25 listed conditions in the Critical Illness section of your benefit summary, no benefit is payable if you received medical advice, consultation, investigation, diagnosis, or if treatment was required or recommended by a physician for that condition within the 24 months immediately preceding the effective date of coverage.
