The covered conditions under our Critical Illness / Cancer insurance are organized into ‘groupings’ (Group 1, Group 2, etc). If you receive a payment for a covered condition, the policy can remain in force but will not pay out for that same condition again, and coverage will no longer apply for any other conditions that are included in that same Group.
The coverage remains in force however, and if an insured is diagnosed with some other condition (in a different group category), they may be eligible to receive an additional benefit payment.
