MHQ #1 - Please carefully read this first question all the way through before providing an answer. We’ve found that many people answer it incorrectly, and it can have a big impact on the cost of your coverage.
The first question is asking about the number of medications that this traveller is currently taking, or that a Doctor has asked them to take, for these 3 specific conditions ONLY:
- HEART Conditions
- and LUNG conditions
HOWEVER, when you’re thinking about this number, do not include meds for high blood pressure (also known as hypertension) and do not include any high cholesterol medications. There’s also no need to include aspirin in this count at all.
MHQ #2 - Fairly straightforward - contact us with any specific questions on this one
MHQ #3 - In this question we’re looking for the number of conditions that this traveller is currently receiving treatment for. Note that ‘Treatment’ includes medications that you’re taking or that a Dr. has ordered you to take.
MHQ #4 - For this question, a minor ailment is a condition which does not require treatment for a period of greater than 30 consecutive days, or more than one follow-up visit or referral visit to a physician or other registered medical practitioner, or which does not require hospitalization or surgical intervention.
