Yes, you can purchase Trip Cancellation and Interruption on an annual policy.
Trip Cancellation can be added if the effective date of the annual policy is more than 7 days in the future. The amount of coverage you should choose is the total $ amount (in Canadian funds) of all trips you will take in the year (the portion you would not be able to get refunded by your travel provider if you were to cancel - think airfare, hotels, cruise fees, etc). This amount is per person.
$5,000 of Trip Cancellation coverage is the highest amount available in the Goose app, but higher limits are available - please speak with a Goose Agent for details. 1-888-374-6673.
Trip Interruption can be purchased by itself, right up until the effective date of the annual policy, and is automatically included when you purchase Trip Cancellation coverage.
IMPORTANT: Do you know of a particular circumstance which you're concerned may cause you to cancel your trip (i.e. a sick relative, travel advisories, weather events, etc)? If you know of this situation prior to purchasing the insurance, please speak with a Goose agent to discuss, as related expenses will most likely not be covered.
